Amarylis Wallace brings over 20 years of professional experience in global consumer products, wealth management, and higher education sectors, with expertise in developing marketing strategies and campaigns, building strategic partnerships, and leading impactful programs. As the Assistant Director, Internships & External Partnerships at College of Arts & Sciences, she focuses on building partnerships with employers and community organizations to expand access to meaningful internships and experiential learning opportunities for students. Amarylis also held leadership roles at the University of Miami Herbert Business School, developing entrepreneurship and leadership programs while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
Amarylis studied and worked abroad in Brazil and France and is fluent in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and French. She holds an MBA in Marketing and an MS in International Business from the University of Miami and a Bachelor of Arts in French with a minor in Business from Villanova University. Amarylis received the University of Miami DIRECCT Value-Responsibility Award for leading the inaugural Miami Leadership Challenge at the University of Miami Herbert Business School.

FACULTY LIAISON
Sumita Chatterjee is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Miami, specializing in South Asia and its diaspora in the United States. She has a M.A. and M.Phil. in Modern Indian History from Jawaharlal Nehru University in New Delhi, India, and a Ph.D. from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. Dr. Chatterjee is actively engaged in the Miami-Dade civic community, serving on the board of Media For Change, and leading initiatives such as an oral history archive and research on Miami-Dade communities. Additionally, she serves as the research historian for a documentary series exploring Asian food in the United States. Throughout her career, Dr. Chatterjee has been a dedicated mentor, advising undergraduate honor thesis projects and supervising Masters and Ph.D. dissertations. She currently serves as the Faculty Liaison for Internships at the College of Arts and Sciences.
